 GEORGE BAKER born 1740-1750:

George Baker was born between 1740-1750.  He resided by 1808 on the Elk Fork creek waters of the Cumberland River in Campbell Co,TN as proven by surveys, deeds and court records.  Elections were at his house with Isaac Whitecotton in 1813.  Both he and his wife are found on the 1830 Campbell Co,TN census listed under George Baker SR.  Resided on Jellico Creek.

It is believed his sons are:

    1. Robert Baker born 1773 md Llydia and died in Daviess Co , IND
    2. Samuel Baker born 1770-1780 coroner of early Campbell Co, TN and died circa 1849.  Resided on Jellico Creek and Lick Fork of the Elk Fork.
    3. Edward Baker born 1780 in VA died 1851 Scott Co, TN md Ursula Christenberry 1833 Whitley Co, KY, Jellico Creek
    4. George Baker born 1780-1790 listed as George Baker Jr on the 1830 census. He might have married married Michael COOK's daughter.
