MARY BAKER
We do not know what happened to Mary Baker born circa 1739-1750 the daughter of Humphrey Baker other than she was wounded on May 3rd 1775 in the Shawnee Indian Raid. It appears she survived but we have not found any other information on Mary Baker, her age or if she married.
On 3 May 1755 the Shawnee Indians began their attacks on the western most Holston frontier attacking Humphrey Baker's settlement and wounding his daughter Mary Baker. The report says: "1755, May 3d.--MARY BAKER at Holston's River wounded.”
