MARY BAKER


We do not know what happened to Mary Baker born circa 1739-1750 the daughter of Humphrey Baker other than she was wounded on May 3
rd 1775 in the Shawnee Indian Raid. It appears she survived but we have not found any other information on Mary Baker, her age or if she married.

On 3 May 1755 the Shawnee Indians began their attacks on the western most Holston frontier attacking Humphrey Baker's settlement and wounding his daughter Mary Baker. The report says: "1755, May 3d.--MARY BAKER at Holston's River wounded.”
